they are worn in Hawaii as a matter of daily footweat. Many in California and other places near the ocean in warm climate. They are standard wear by Asians - One would not say that the 2 billion population of Asia is gay.
Why do there have to be labels? Why can't people wear what they feel is comfortable or convenient without being labeled?
In fact it is no one's affair but your what you want to wear. Now that you have spent the money, best you wear them. You could have getten them for 1/2 the price in other places.
Are these women's thongs? If so, that is a fetish, but it doesn't mean you're gay, not unless you're attracted to men instead of, or as well as, women. If they are men's thongs, I don't really see an issue, and I'm wondering, based on some of the other comments if I'm missing something? Why would that make him gay?
Thongs are what we in Australia call flip flops. So that's a bit confusing. We call thongs G-strings. I used to have a friend who worked in a sheet music department, and I was always ringing her and disguising my voice and saying "Excuse me, do you have Air On a G-String?"
To answer your question, If you enjoy wearing women's underwear you're not necessarily gay, but you're most likely a transvestite. Transvestism is by far the commonest form of sexual deviation, and you would be surprised to know how many guys regularly wear women's underwear.
